| Sound
Harmonics is part of the world-wide dV-DOSC network
and when the initial purchase of dV-DOSC was made.
Joseph Mandy, Richard Smith and Richard Blamire
travelled to L-Acoustics headquarters near Paris
for the intense QVT training. Being from sunny
South Africa, the guys enjoyed one of the coldest
winters in the last twenty years in Paris! |
| KUDO
Training in South Africa |
| In
early 2005 Sound Harmonics purchased a L-Acoustics
KUDO system for their rental division. It
was decided to combine the pre-requisit
training with Gearhouse South Africa, who
would take delivery of their system later
in the year, as well as some of the existing
Sound Harmonics installation clients who
were high-end L-Acoustics users. David Brooks
from L-Acoustics flew to South Africa to
conduct the three day training and meet
with other L-Acoustics users and view installations
completed by Sound Harmonics. |

| Lake
Seminar at Vodaworld |
| When
the Lake Contour and Mesa EQ were launched they
were unlike any other products on the market.
Sound Harmonics therefore hosted a two session
training seminar at Vodaworld to introduce the
products to the industry. Michael Reeves, Vice-President
of Sales for Lake conducted the training which
was attended by staff members of rental companies,
churches and theatres, consultants and members
of the press. |
| InnovaSON
Training |

2005
saw members of Sound Harmonics travelling
again to France, this time for training
in the use and servicing of InnovaSON digital
mixing consoles. Sound Harmonics has been
a driving force in the use of digital mixing
solutions in South Africa.They were the
first company to use large format digital
mixing consoles and digital multicore systems
in installations and live events. |

| Lake
Certification in Frankfurt |
|
With
the launch of the Dolby Lake Processor,
Lake decided to impliment a certification
program for distributors and high-end
users of the new product due to its many
new and revolutionary features. Sound
Harmonics was invited to join the prestigious
guest list and take part in the training.
