Sound Harmonics rental division took delivery of their first InnovaSON SY-80 large format digital console this week. What classifies this console as "Large Format" as opposed to the SY48, that was purchased a year ago, and it's competitors is not only it's size but its impressive list of inputs and outputs and mix capabilities.

Mosaiek completes second phase of Audio Installation
 
Mosaiek Church is a multi-purpose complex that hires it's facilities to other clients. The team has always been quality driven and so when planning first began, sound quality was a priority.

It was also realised that the venue would be used by visiting artists and companies. Therefore the system would have to be widely accepted by a diverse group of users.

 
Grease is the Word!
 
The hit broadway musical GREASE recently started a lengthy touring schedule of the Barnyard Theatre circuit at the Broadacres Theatre in Johannesburg. Sound Designer Richard Smith of Sound Harmonics chose to use a dedicated microphone and mixing solution that moves with the show.

The cast of seventeen use Shure Wireless microphone systems with Countryman E6 capsules.
